I’m back
I’ve started blogging again. For those of you who have been transferred over here, Welcome. This is my new home. Why Abu Hafsa you ask? I’ve chosen the name simply after my daughter. Her name is Hafsa, making me Abu Hafsa (‘Abu’ stands for father in arabic). I’ve also changed my style of writing. My blogs will be short and concise. Smaller than most people’s posts and larger than tweets.
Some new sections on this blog will include my mac musings and professional programming skills. I’ve largely ignored this area of my expertise. I’m a mac enthusiast and for sometime now have been sharing my experience on working with a mac in a corporate environment. By profession I am a software developer. At the end of each day I usually learn something which I will start sharing inshaAllah. I think that’s it for this post. Ma’asalamah.

Masha’Allah, nice name for a site. I remember when I was reading Riyadhus Saliheen that “Abu Hafs” was the Kunya of Umar ibn al Khattab in the famous Hadith “Actions are judged by intention” and I believe Hafs came from Hafsa. WAllahu A’lam.
